![]() These people charge quite a lot and has zero concerns for safety of people. ![]() After 5-10 min, due to the situation, I pried opened the elevator with my hands and we were able to get out and the staff there was insensitive to the situation that they said we should not have opened the doors and we should have stayed inside till the maintanence showed up. There were people who were claustrophobic in the elevator. After 4-5 attempts, we were informed that the maintenance folks for elevator would take around 50 min to arrive and we have to continue to be in elevator. We were stuck inside elevator and pressed the alarm or emergency button. Now, after this, they closed the door to elevator and elevator never moved. ![]() They make you cram into a very small elevator where you hardly have space to move. We were on an elevator to the top deck of elevator. This monument is the poster photo of Canada and yet the people managing this property has zero concern for people’s safety who are visiting this monument. ![]() I am writing this review with disappointment as a Canadian. While this seemed very pricey, in retrospect, it was well worth it for the memories. For one adult and a child, it was $108 CDN. One drawback is the cost of the tickets to the Skypod. The next time we come to Toronto, I will almost definitely make reservations at the 360 degree rotating restaurant as it promises to be an unforgettable experience. That said, you can actually see how much the Tower is swaying by looking at a "plumb -bob" that hangs down in the Skypod and shows the building's movements in the wind (not more than 4 or 5 cms when we visited). So, a word of warning, the Skypod is not for the "faint of heart". It was quite windy during our visit so, at the Skypod level, you could actually feel the slight movement of the CN Tower. (Worth noting is that she was perfectly bilingual.) Our guide who took us up to the Skypod (Zaina) was especially welcoming and excited for us. The entire staff and especially the guides seem to understand how exciting this experience can be for first-time visitors. The whole CN Tower experience is one of cool, clean efficiency (even the washroom facilities were modern and spotless).
